ERA-NET Plant Genomics
Strenghtening the European Research Area in Plant Genomics

ERA-PG: a network of research funding organisations responsible for the development of national or regional plant genomics research programmes.

ERA-PG: concentrates on creating a stimulating and fruitful environment for European plant genomics together with the scientific community.

ERA-PG: started in 2004 with twelve member organisations from eleven countries funded through the EU’s 6th Framework Programme. The Network is committed to expand membership to countries that are launching plant genomics initiatives. On 1 January 2006 the network was contractually enlarged by four countries and later in 2006 Bulgaria jointed as affiliated member.

ERA-PG: started a common programme with the launch of the first joint call in 2006, and launched the second call in January 2008
